I guess I've just always assumed that everyone knew what my abbreviations meant. I'm so sorry. To clarify. IUI is intrauterine insemination and dpiui is days past IUI. If anyone wants to know what any other abbreviation means, please leave me a comment and let me know.

Today was my 7dpiui Progesterone check. My P4 was greater than 20 which the nurse said was WONDERFUL!! Over 10 is good for a regular cycle and over 15 is good for a medicated cycle. My clinic's machine stops counting at 20 so I don't know how high it really is but since it is not an indicator of anything other than ovulation and the ability to sustain a pregnancy and it just has to be greater than 20 I guess it doesn't matter. It wouldn't tell me anything different if it was 25 or 250.
I took a test today! Yes, Mom. I did. You don't have to ask. I was checking to see if my HCG trigger shot was out of my system yet so that next week I don't get a false positive if I get a positive at all. Well, it was negative so I am excited about that. Some months it gets out really quick and some months it has taken forever to get out!!

I'm a regular reader as well. I ran across your blog last summer when I was doing endless research trying to figure out what was wrong with me! I had a m/c almost a year ago and was finally able to see a fertility specialist and get a Dx in December. This is my first round of Femara and Ovidrel -- fingers crossed it will do the trick.
I do admire your outlook on things, despite all the troubles you have been through. I had a terrible time recovering from one miscarriage, I can't imagine having multiple miscarriages.
I do wish you luck in this cycle -- maybe it will work for both of us!
I don't have a blog, but read yours constantly for inspiration and perspective.
I'd love any tips you have from this process.

I found your blog a couple of weeks ago. My husband and I have been trying for many years(5 +), I have PCOS. I am currently ovulating on an oral medication called Femara in conjunction with IUI, but we may end up moving onto injectibles. We've had 8 failed cycles and lots of breaks.. I was so moved to tears by your history, and your perseverance. I am a Christian, and this has been such an intense trial. Lots of anguish, tears and questions... somehow God keeps giving us strength and hope.
I am praying that this is your month and that your life is filled with peace!
