5 wk 2 days

Today is 5 weeks 2 days. Nothing really seems different except I am bloated at night. Sorry I haven't updated since Monday. I have been really tired this week and going to bed around 7 pm. I think most of it is the 3 trips to Jackson and teaching 2 night classes this week. I went back to Jackson for 2nd HCG on Wednesday. It was 395 !!!!! A little more than doubled!! Praise God!!!! Then Thursday I went to see my thyroid doctor. My levels are fine right now. I will go back and see him on Feb. 7. I will go back the Wednesday for another HCG level. Please pray that the HCG levels continue to rise normally!!!! My ultrasound is scheduled for Jan. 30. I am curious to know from those of you who are pregnant. I know it is different for every woman, but when did your morning sickness start or did you even have it.

I didn't have any morning sickness with Caden. With this little one, I had nausea on and off starting at about 6 weeks and continuing until about 10 weeks. I'm so excited for y'all!!!

My "all day queasiness" started around 6-7 weeks and lasted until 14 weeks. If you do get morning sickness (after consulting your OB, of course) try 1/2 unisom. I know it sounds crazy, but it was recommended to me and it was the only thing that worked. It didn't even make me tired during the day. Although that could be because I was already tired anyway.

Exciting stuff!!! I have been praying and praying for you.
My morning sickness started almost to the dot at 6 weeks. With Caroline, it only lasted a few weeks, but I was on my butt until nearly 16 weeks with Parker. I couldn't do anything but sleep and eat crackers. Ginger ale, peppermints, crackers and dramamine were my best friends!

Wow! I know I've been lax on reading all my favorite blogs, but I don't think I knew you were "in a family way"!!!! Congratulations.

And to answer your question, I never had morning sickness with any of my three pregnancies, even the one that stuck and became my darling seven-year-old little girl.

I'll make sure I stop by more often to see your updates!!!!
